No superstitions. I just try to make sure each dog looks great on the day.

“And Just Like That” (the “Sex in the City” reboot).
3. If you were president of AKC for one day, what would you do?
Spend a sizable amount of money on a marketing campaign in support of responsible breeders to combat the negative perceptions from the “Adopt, Don’t Shop” movement. Doodle breeders have done a fantastic job marketing their “breed” to the public; we can learn a thing or two from them.

Framed dog-magazine covers that I shot.
5. What is something no one would guess about you?
I love to cook and bake!

Capturing “that moment.”
8. What website do you visit most often?
Facebook.
9. What was more memorable, your most satisfying win or disappointing defeat? And what was it?
My most memorable win was winning the Veteran Dog class at the 2021 Golden Retriever National under Anne Katona. I was showing GCh. Lakesyde’s Don’t Try This at Home, “Jack.” He is out of my Juniors dog Tyffany and has produced many of the Goldens in my life. It was truly an honor to win such a competitive class under a fantastic judge with a very special dog!
10. What do you wish someone would ask you?
To photograph shows in Europe.
