1. Do you have any dog-show superstitions?
Just in general, I do not pass salt from hand to hand.
2. TV-show guilty pleasure?
Dateline! I tape them all.
3. If you were president of AKC for one day, what would you do?
Start a program for Juniors on breeding dogs.
4. Most valued material possession?
My home. I am really a homebody. I love being here, gardening, decorating, cooking, cleaning and just being with my family.
5. What is something no one would guess about you?
I cry at commercials. The one at Christmas was a real tearjerker for me, and my husband would look at me like "Really?" It was the one with the Christmas tree that the grandfather would not cut down. Soldiers coming home to their children clips, too.
6. Who would you compare yourself to?
Dear Lord, I think I’m a cross breeding of Martha Stewart, Kristin Chenoweth, my Aunt Jean and Rebel Wilson.
7. What are you “famous” for?
With my friends at home: table settings/entertaining. With my kids: loudest cheerleader. Dogs: Check Chick at the AKC Eukanuba National Championship.
8. What website do you visit most often?
AMAZON! They drive the semi-truck to my house for deliveries.
9. What was more memorable, your most satisfying win or disappointing defeat? And what was it?
Winning the Group at Westminster with Ch. Skansen’s I Have a Dream. It was a beautiful group of Working dogs, and Estelle Cohen was the judge. Every win under judges you really respect is memorable though.
