70th Annual Show Dogs of the Year Awards
Another year has quickly passed and we find ourselves on the eve of the first of November, the official start of the online voting for the Purina Pro Plan Show Dogs of the Year Awards Dinner partnered with Dog News. The voting consists of three nominees in six categories for your consideration. The online voting address (starting 11/1/25) is www.ShowDogsAwards.com/Vote

A brief biography and photograph of each nominee appears in this issue of Dog News and will appear in every issue until the online voting ends on December 20, 2025. The winners of each category along with the Number One Junior Handler and the Number One Dogs in each variety group as well as the Top Dog All Breeds for 2025 will be honored ending the evening with the newest inductee of the coveted Anne Rogers Clark Hall of Fame. The invitation only Black Tie dinner to be held at Gotham Hall on Saturday evening, January 31, 2026 crowning the Westminster Kennel Club dog show weekend.
