A nearly two-week birthday celebration for MARTIN SOSNOFF (who could forget those hugely popular cocktail parties thrown by the TONI & MARTIN SOSNOFF at the start of the WESTMINSTER KENNEL CLUB week, at their Manhattan home) took the celebrants to jet-setting destinations that included Milan, Lake Como and then onto a surprise birthday party in Venice, where the entire SOSNOFF CLAN appeared, children and grandchildren, to surprise MARTIN on his birthday. Organized by TONI, it was a BIRTHDAY ITALIAN STYLE with a TONI TOUCH. Even at his tender age, MARTIN rides his horse six days a week. And this writer was honored to be among the guests. ...
