Well, I will probably see if I can find something to watch on TV other than football, and then since I am here in New York City, I will head to Fresco by Scotto for their Thanksgiving celebration.

What a glorious holiday! We will be spending the day with family and our Newfoundland. More importantly, we will take time to consider all the things for which we are grateful.

I am having five "doggy friends" at my home for dinner, and instead of the usual turkey I am serving duck l'orange. My friends are each contributing to the feast.

I will be spending Thanksgiving with my husband, sister, niece and nephew. Seems like yesterday we would have as many as 20 for the holiday, but is not meant to be now. Only my sister and I out of a family of seven. We think of them often and the wonderful friends we have lost in the past. Here is wishing everyone has a great Thanksgiving and you are as I am thankful for the family and friends that are still with us.

Roast chicken instead of turkey. And CRANBERRY sauce, freshly made cranberry sauce, none of that canned stuff! Next day, chicken with cranberry-sauce sandwiches, maybe a little cream cheese. Hoping our beautiful fall weather holds.

My husband and I always travel to Columbus, Ohio, to have dinner at the restaurant where my son works. It's the only way we can be together as a family since he always works holidays. Some of his co-workers' and friends' parents will join us when they are in the same boat. It's truly an orphans’ Thanksgiving.

This will be my first Thanksgiving without my mom, Beverly… so it’s going to be a tough one. I will be spending it with my brother Steve, his wonderful wife Puspa, and their twin boys Jaden and Julian . My brother and I are the remaining members of our immediate family, and I am so very thankful for that. Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with great food , family and love.

I’m spending Thanksgiving Day with my family and dogs. As is our custom, we’ll watch the Philadelphia Kennel Club show on TV, then eat. And eat. The next two days I’ll help Indian Nations Tracking Club with their tests near Tulsa. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
