Great news from the AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB President and CEO GINA DINARDO on their legal victory over the powerful PETA. Mexico is on the verge of a three year-run of International dog shows. This coming November the FEDERACION CANOFILA MEXICANA will host the first dog show held under American Kennel Club rules along with their own Mexican dog shows held under their rules. In a recent announcement, DR. LUIS PAYRO announced that Mexico will host the big Dog Show of the Americas that brings dogs from countries in South and Central America in 2027 and in 2028 Mexico will host the FCI World Dog Show. Three very big and important canine events and a testament to the hard work that Dr. Payro has done to bring the events home to Mexico. Muy bueno, Señor. The AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB recently released the top ten breeds by popularity for 2025 and the ROYAL KENNEL CLUB released their list of vulnerable breeds that includes: Bearded Collie, Bedlington Terrier, Bloodhound, Bullmastiff, Bull Terrier (Miniature), Collie (Smooth), Dandie Dinmont Terrier, Deerhound, English Setter, English Toy Terrier (Black & Tan), Foxhound, Fox Terrier (Smooth), Glen of Imaal Terrier, Gordon Setter, Greyhound, Harrier, Irish Red & White Setter, Irish Wolfhound, Kerry Blue Terrier, King Charles Spaniel, Lakeland Terrier, Lancashire Heeler, Manchester Terrier, Mastiff, Norwich Terrier, Otterhound, Retriever (Curly Coated), Sealyham Terrier, Skye Terrier, Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Spaniel (Clumber), Spaniel (Field), Spaniel (Irish Water), Spaniel (Sussex), Spaniel (Welsh Springer), Welsh Corgi (Cardigan), Welsh Terrier. A frequent visitor to Africa, KIKI COURTELIS is off on safari in South Africa this week crowning her 20th trip to visit the wild animals she loves so much. Escaping the cold weather SUSAN SPRUNG and her companion BILL BROMBERG are cruising the Caribbean. The REISMAN FAMILY, HONI, FRAN & JIMMY, held a celebration of life for their sister CAROL who recently passed away.
