We’ve packed up the gang and headed to the great New England Terrier Club match show. It’s an event just made for puppies and Jagdterriers.
Libby Naimo
Ellendale, Delaware
John and I are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary on the 14th, so we’re going out for an amazing steak dinner and hanging out with the spaniels and havies.
Karl Stearns
Mountainhome, Pennsylvania
Helping my wife clean the house. Usually I’m working for WKC in the press organization. I think I would rather do the 18-hour days at WKC with less than adequate sleep, barely enough time to eat a decent meal, and aching feet …. than cleaning. On the other hand, we’re getting an early start on spring cleaning. That makes me a hero around here.

I guess I will take a look at TV Guide to see if NBC has some kind of a football game to watch.
Share some seven-layer dip and chili dogs with Grace and True Dat.
And then after that, maybe watch my friends Johnny and Tara and Sean White build snowmen on NBC.
Janet Cupolo
Hellertown, Pennsylvania
I am so sad about Westminster, but am glad it is rescheduled. We are not entered in any shows this weekend, so I will stay home, do some grooming and watch the Super Bowl/Olympics. Kind of a downer, but will be back at shows in the next week or so. Yay!
Patrick Archer McManus
Derby, Connecticut
I have chosen the usual as an artist: I’m making ink drawings of stunning dogs with great Westminster history!

It sure felt like Westminster was roaring up with the news of the snowstorm last week and flights being cancelled. We sure were looking forward to the Dog News dinner celebrating the big winners of 2021. Instead we have been watching lots of Olympic coverage, planning a Super Bowl watch party, and picking up a special Valentine's Day take-out dinner. Here’s hoping life returns to normal in 2023!
Alice and Steve Lawrence
Stafford Springs, Connecticut
We are satisfying our competitive spirits by joyfully watching hours and hours of the Olympics on TV.
Susan Thibodeaux
Cocoa, Florida
Watching my brand-new litter of Toy Fox Terrier puppies! First litter in two years – so excited and in love!
Lita Long
Turner, Oregon
Running dogs with Mr. Baggie in 60-degree weather. Bright, beautiful, clear day. And doing Valentine’s Day photos with all attendees.
Armando Angelbello
Davie, Florida
Family time, and went to see the musical “Ain’t Too Proud, The Life and Times of the Temptations.”
Iva Kimmelman
Stow, Massachusetts
Jeffrey and I drove down to High Springs, Florida, to run four of our best dogs in AKC trials at the Sunshine State Rhodesian Ridgeback Club. This Westminster weekend we were so disappointed but understanding about yet another cancellation.
Joy Bass
Palestine, Texas
Watching the Olympics and the Super Bowl, of course!
Jean Heath
Pleasanton, California
Enjoying the warm weather in Palm Desert, just hanging out and plan to watch the Super Bowl. No special interest in it this year. Watching the Olympics, too. Using Instacart for food delivery! Wishing everyone good health and safety!
Barbara Miller
Brookville, New York
Attend a reveal for my forthcoming third great-grandchild. Never heard of a reveal, but I’ve come to find out it’s what this generation does. I’ll also be streaming my granddaughter Maggie’s fashion show. She was asked to be part of the young designers at New York Fashion Week. Maggie had to submit her collection, design I believe eight pieces, purchase fabric and sew each of her designs. And then there’s the Super Bowl. Lots of love all around!
Tuni Conti
Oxford, Connecticut
It’s Super Bowl Sunday. In the Conti house, it’s a holiday!

Well ... If I can't be at Madison Square Garden at the BEST DOG SHOW...
