Dog-sport involvement: Show Beagles and set up dog shows

1. Do you have any dog-show superstitions?  

No. 

2. TV-show guilty pleasure?

“Homestead Rescue.”

3. If you were president of AKC for one day, what would you do?  

Promote purebred dogs.

4. Most valued material possession?

My Beagles. 

5. What is something no one would guess about you?

I have a “heart.”

6. Who would you compare yourself to?

The “old” dog people who stayed all day to watch and learn different breeds.

7. What are you “famous” for?

Helping kennel clubs have shows

8. What website do you visit most often?

9. What was more memorable, your most satisfying win or disappointing defeat? And what was it?

Most memorable: Going Winners Dog at the Beagle National with the first red and white Beagle.
Satisfying: A win over the #1 Beagle at the time at the Kentucky Cluster.
Disappointing: Losing to a lame Beagle being shown by a breeder-judge.

10. What do you wish someone would ask you?

“Thank you for being there.”
