1. Do you have any dog-show superstitions?

Not really.

2. TV-show guilty pleasure?

“Cops,” HGTV, “Dateline” and mystery shows/movies.

3. If you were president of AKC for one day, what would you do? 

Leave it to Gina! She will take great care of our sport …

4. Most valued material possession?

My Griff and the dogs I have lost over the years.

5. What is something no one would guess about you?

I used to race sports cars.

6. Who would you compare yourself to? 

I doubt there are any other grandmothers like me. Ask my grandkids.

7. What are you “famous” for?  

My two great, intelligent, hard-working children (Dayne and Michelle), four grandsons, two granddaughters and two great-granddaughters. (I started early!)

8. What website do you visit most often?

AKC, Infodog, home and garden and decorating ideas.

9. What was more memorable, your most satisfying win or disappointing defeat? And what was it?   

Well, we all experience the defeats, but the most memorable win was a specialty BOB over 100 dogs, and my homebred bitch ranking second in her division during my "owner-handled years."

10. What do you wish someone would ask you? 

“Would you like to take a month off and travel?”
