Right now I’m back at school. 

Dog-sport involvement:
Breeding Pugs for 22 years and Havanese for 6 years. I have bred Champions all over the world, over 60 AKC champions, multiple BIS and BISS dogs.

01 Do you have any dog-show superstitions?  
Yes! I definitely have “lucky” and “unlucky” suits. 

02 TV-show guilty pleasure? 
My favorite TV show is Grey’s Anatomy.

03 If you were president of AKC for one day, what would you do? 
I’d put people in charge who are more like myself than big-corporation CEOs. Obviously, I couldn’t do everything in one day, but I’d move the offices from New York to North Carolina, reduce salaries to make them more reasonable for a nonprofit, and review the judges’ education system.

04 Most valued material possession? 
I love gadgets, but I’m not very attached to material things, maybe my phone lol.

05What is something no one would guess about you? 
I don’t think I’m a secret to anyone. I consider myself pretty transparent, obviously only if people have actually interacted with me.

06 Who would you compare yourself to?
Probably my mother. I admire many of her qualities and feel she’s passed them on to me.

07 What are you “famous” for?  
I’m probably known for being honest, perhaps to a fault, loyal to the truth and my loved ones, hardworking, and caring. I’m not afraid to speak up, especially when I see something I think is wrong.

08 What are your thoughts on Social Media?
Social media is great for communicating with people worldwide, but it also bears huge responsibility for dividing our society and feeding us made-up videos that can brainwash and dehumanize us.

09 What was more memorable, your most satisfying win or disappointing defeat? And what was it? 
I’ve had wonderful wins with my dogs. Two standouts were winning BIS breeder/owner/handler in Spain and breaking the Pug BIS record at the time. My most disappointing defeat was losing the breed after winning BIS the day before. The positives far surpass the negatives. 

10 What do you wish someone would ask you?
I like helping people and I’m always available if someone needs advice, especially about raising puppies. It makes me happy, time permitting of course.
