1. Do you have any dog-show superstitions?  
Expect the unexpected.

 

2. TV-show guilty pleasure?

None

 

3. If you were president of AKC for one day, what would you do?  

Fix the web page and the computer system.

 

4. Most valued material possession?

The first place trophy I won in a very large junior showmanship class at my first ever dog show.  I had never even been to a dog show before.  I did however previously have experience with showing horses.

 

5. What is something no one would guess about you?

  Hmmm.. 

 

6. Who would you compare yourself to?
There is no comparison either good or bad.

 

7. What are you “famous” for? 

My stubbornness

 

8. What are your thoughts on Social Media?
I don’t particularly like it.  To much unimportant trivia and false information.

9. What was more memorable, your most satisfying win or disappointing defeat?  And what was it?

  Most disappointing loss…. Have never mentioned this to anyone, but since you asked……..  it was losing BOB at the National and then at the dinner having to listen to the judge basically apologize for his decision and saying he had his own reasons without stating what those reasons might have been.  It would have been much easier to accept the loss if he had not said anything….  Just a hint to other  judges….  Don’t ever put the veteran dog in front and then gait it with another younger dog expecting the veteran to wear down. In this case it was the other dog that gave up first.  The only satisfaction I have is that my dog had several years before won BOB at the largest National we ever had, even to this date…

 

10. What do you wish someone  would ask you?
I don’t know how to answer this one.  Just let people ask me whatever they want.
