Luc Boileau passes away
Adieu to the respected judge and handler
Luc Boileau passed away today in his sleep.
He started his career in his native Canada, and while everyone knows his great success with Pekingese, he bred and owned top winning Whippets as well. With his partnership with the late Ed Jenner, they campaigned many top winners in several breeds.
Luc handled the Pekingese Ch. Wendessa Crown Prince to a Westminster Kennel Club Best In Show win in 1990 under Judge Frank Sabella (above).
On his retirement from handling he became a sought-after multiple group judge. Outspoken, outrageously funny, never to be replaced and forever missed by his many friends.
Rest In peace, dear friend.
