The Gossip Column: May 15, 2026

Love was in the air this past week, on May 7th with the marriage of professional handlers ANIA ROMANO KELLY and PETER KUBACZ. Friends and family gathered in Berryville, Virginia at the historic Rosemont Manor. For the occasion she gave up her little white dog for a white gown and looked quite beautiful in it. A lady of many talents, given she landed PETER, a longtime chased, but not caught, talented dog show lover who was a single man with no progeny, good looking and eligible and straight. Why, he was the unicorn of the dog world. She was a young beauty who came on the scene and quickly recognized for her good looks and innate talent with showing dogs. The paring was enviable but too lengthily for the I Do’s to take place for PETER’s anxious mother ANNE MARIE. By all accounts it was a great day and I was sorry to have missed the festivities, but other obligations kept me from attending.
